press release on the latest of 10 additions to Michigan State hockey.
I'm not an expert on college hockey recruiting, but let the record show that 10 newcomers are headed to the roster for the upcoming season. Will be interesting.
East Lansing, Mich. -- Spartan coach Adam Nightingale has added forward Karsen Dorwart (Sherwood, Oregon) to the Spartan roster for the 2022-23 season.
The 6-1, 191-pound Dorwart adds some size on the front lines for the Spartans. Dorwart comes to East Lansing after a season with the USHL's Sioux Falls Stampede.
"Karsen is a strong centerman who plays a 200' game," noted the Spartan coach. "His game really evolved last season and we look forward to helping him continue his development path."
Dorwart is the 10th newcomer to Spartan roster for next season, a group which is comprised of five freshmen, four graduate transfers, and one transfer student-athlete. The group includes six forwards, three defensemen, and one goaltender.
