Holding by the Ducks

I waited till morning to jump in as I think in the heat of battle post game one gets caught up in both good and bad emotion. I have seen scattered posts about the holding by Oregon and as a watcher on TV you could spot the obvious ones and HEAR the crowd go bonkers about the ones where the zebras swallowed their whistles. Remember it was A PAC 12 ref crew. To me that says it all. Yet we were very fortunate ourselves on some calls such as the 4th down where they actually were trying to review the refs spot on Adams stretch!! Back to the holding though, it was exaserbated on the call against Calhoun where their O Lineman virtualy had him in a bear hug and yet he was called for hands to the face. That all being said, I think it is a credit to coach D that we dig down and find a way to win. We faced a crazy over the top athletic team with an OFFENSIVE scheme that has to give D coordinators nightmares and found a way to bend but not totally break. If I can hope for one thing out of the game it is that our special teams get their crap together because they are putting undo pressure on our offense and defense to be letter perfect to make up for the special team gaffs!!! Go Green!!!!!
