I'm a traditionalist by nature so the thought of Spartan Stadium becoming Quicken Loan Stadium or some other naming rights arrangement would have been unacceptable to me years ago but now I think Hollis ought to do a deal if he can identify a good partner. I think it is vital for MSU to substantiate as much of the Dantonio era success in brick and mortar as possible to stack the deck for Mark's successor.
Hopefully MSU will enjoy Mark's leadership for another 7 or 8 years and he'll continue his high level of success and turn the program over to another great coach. I want the next coach to inherit a beautiful infrastructure in addition to strong program. Really polishing up the stadium would take a LOT of money and finishing it before Mark is done may require a corporate partner. I hope Hollis is working on this right now.
