to Carroo over Damian Hicks on Saturday? Carroo's return scares me because he is an outstanding receiver and Hicks has consistently not been able to stop a good (let alone "outstanding") wide receiver down the sideline on "go type" patterns. He never seems to get his head and/or hips turned around to play the ball. One would think that there would be improvement in Damien's mechanics by now, since last year when he had similar problems and it cost him his starting position. But it just won't go away (twice last week by an average Purdue wide receiver). It probably, hopefully, will not be a game changing issue Saturday but it's curious to me with all the coaching talent for defensive backs on the Spartan staff that it continues to be an issue. I rarely knock a player but this one puzzles me. Fire away!
