I deleted the Mark Meyers DUI thread.
There were too many individual posts that did nothing to contribute to the overall thread.
I will delete posts and threads that contain graphic language(this one did not, for the most part), posts that call other posters out on a personal level, political posts, and posts that strive to cause discord (obvious trolling attempts). If I can save a thread by deleting individual posts or editting individual posts, that is my preference.
The topic was fine. Mark Meyers got a DUI, it may or may not severely hurt the team, who can cover for him if he misses games, etc. It was the bickering back and forth that caused the thread to be removed. There are ways to have differing opinions without insulting each other.
In the future, if you feel a post or topic is not appropriate for this board, use the report function and give your reason, or message me directly. The report function flashes red on my Ipad so I can quickly go to the individual thread and asses any action needed. Or do nothing because your hard working moderator (me) reads every post (unfortunately) and will act accordingly.
