After digesting the Dot Comp, it seems WMU was able to just go to the bag-of-tricks from last season which teams used against MSU to move the ball. I didn't see any new wrinkles or schemes out there, and apparently nor did Comp.
After what Baylor, OSU and Oregon did to us last year, to bring in Mark Snyder, and to promote new coordinators on defense, I have to believe that Dantonio is too proud of a defensive mind not to adjust and get a step ahead again.
But out of respect to the brilliant coaching staff at Oregon, do you really want to show your cards in Kalamazoo, and give the Ducks 8 days to figure out how to adjust? I wouldn't. I'd play base against WMU and rely on my players to make plays.
