I was just catching up on MSU football on the official MSU athletic site. In the spring practice article dated 3/24, the writer mentions this little tidbit.
In the Big Ten, only Michigan and Ohio State have won 11 games or more four times in a five-year span, as MSU has from 2010-14. That may be a great for those teams, but this Spartan edition has entered spring with a clean slate....
Seems to me the writer could have worded that much differently.
OK, With OSU's vacated wins in 2010, it has NEVER won 11 or more games over a 5 year period (insert the 2010 wins and they've done it twice. They are on a hell of a run). um? Since 1906, it's won 11 or more four times. Yes, technically um won 11+ from 1901 to 1905. That was back when some of um's opponents were high school teams. So does um really need to be mentioned by the writer? Why give them credit for something that took playce over 100 years ago?
OK, my mini rant is over.
