Right after MSU offered Tuf Borland, I thought MSU was a LONG shot at best. OSU made him a priority very early on in the process. Of course Wisconsin had the legacy angle.
I also posted that it would be better for Borland to go to OSU than Wisc from MSU's perspective.
Borland to Wisc would help Badgers talent base and potentially cause MSU to have to go head to head with OSU for somebody else.
OSU is gonna get highly coveted players not matter what, Wisc not necessarily.
So basically OSU had a great weekend and IMO overall it did not hurt the landscape from MSU's perspective at all...If anything it may have helped.
