Even if that happens, it will be a purely depth oriented move to fill out the 3rd string. Ed Davis' replacement will be one of several existing LBs, even if that means shifting one of the remaining starters to Money. And the coaches have made it clear that they planned to have a rotation of LBs this season no matter what, so multiple guys will be involved in absorbing the available PT anyway.
