He went from having a very seasoned and talented group to start with to having to perform significant triage before the very first snap and replace his best player. Athletically, it appears he has a lot to work with in Frey, Martinez and Thompson. Getting them to "play fast" and assignment sound is going to be interesting to watch and see how much of a drop off MSU has at the position.
