I think that takes away a lot of pressure from losing Davis for the season. Provided the Dline is as good as they are being made out to be. If they can get pressure without additional blitzing that allows for more coverage help in the back 7. Now for all intensive purposes Ed Davis (may he get another chance and come back better than ever) specialty was blitzing. With a strong front line we can use more LB help in the secondary which I'm sure we'd be more than capable of with or without Ed. Now you can still use exotic blitzs and what not but the need for Eds ability might not be as needed this year as it was last. Let's not forget we have a wealth of LB this year and at least one of them is going to give us what we need at Ed's position.
