I seriously cannot believe he is going to go #1, and that most of the analysts are OK with this. Seriously??

He does two things well - 1) He stands in drills and throws perfect passes, and 2) He is a good competitor that rallies his teammates during close games.

But the weaknesses are very clear, in my opinion. They are, 1) He is a knucklehead, feels entitled, contnues to screw up after many chances. 2) He throws a lot of INT's - I can't believe that nobody (except Gruden) seems to harp on this. 3) He is largely unproven. Except the Auburn game (where he made some great plays and some terrible plays), his team has been dominant against inferior competition in most of his games. 4) Questionable work ethic. I'm not talking about practicing hard, I'm talking about watching film, listening to his coach, etc.

We have seen this movie many times - a big school QB that wins with superior talent, but shows a lot of personal issues, and they get taken high in the draft. It never seems to work out.

Look at the top QB's in the NFL - there are only about 8 of them. Manning, Brady, Brees, Russell, Luck, Rogers. Do any of those 6 even come close to fitting his profile. Perhaps Ben Rothlesberger is the one successful exception, since he is a knucklehead. Even if you go to the next tier of success - Stafford, Eli Manning, Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Phillip Rivers, ....who am i missing? They are all serious people, hard workers, clean images. We can think of some examples from the past - Joe Namath, Ken Stabler, Jim McMahon - who were successful despite being partyers. Butwould you bet your franchise tht Jameis is the next one?

Anyway, I'll go on record as saying that I think he will show up in Tampa with a bunch of "friends", and he will start to show signs of being a problem from the very beginning.
