I live in Phoenix, and make it back for a game each year. But usually only one. A couple great days walking the campus, going to the Stadium, visiting local haunts.
So, I might only get 40 more days in Spartan Stadium.
And I watch every single minute of every single game on TV. Always.
So, I might only get 40 more seasons of Spartan Football to enjoy. 12-13 games--probably just 50 hours of Spartan football per year. 2000 hours of Spartan Football left for me. Doesn't seem like a lot, does it?
I think I'll go ahead and enjoy watching a well coached, interesting, imperfect football team chase something special.
And I'll continue to be grateful for what MD, Hollis and LAKS have done to bring us historically great Spartan football. No matter what happens.
I'm not taking a minute of this for granted, and going to enjoy the ride no matter what. It's fleeting...
