I am going to throw this out here, I am not sure how I really feel on this issue. But, Is it in the best interest for MSU for the Big Ten to expand? Here are some points to consider:
Adding two teams, such as Oklahoma and Notre Dame, makes it more difficult to win the Big Ten
Not winning the Big Ten makes it nearly impossible to make the 4 team play off
Adding two teams increases the odds that MSU could be moved to the West division
Adding two teams increases the potential for favorable scheduling for Michigan and OSU (this one is for the Delaney is pro Michigan and pro OSU crowd).
I think the Big Twelve Model might be the best, if they add a championship game. They play a round robin and then the two best teams play each other again for the championship. This ship has sailed for the BigTen, but I wonder if expanding is such a good thing for MSU.
