Dantonio's best classes to date. From a ratings perspective it looks like that will be the case, but, I have long been a critic of recruiting rankings, so that measure is suspect to me for reasons we have debated here for years. I really don't care if Rivals thinks MSU's class is the #5 or the #35 best class in America.
However, look at who MSU is beating for these kids. Now, that means something. MSU is basically craving up the Midwest with Ohio St, each sharing the spoils.
I hope this is MSU's best class since those legendary classes in the early 1960's. However, if it is just as good as the classes of 2010-2011, that will be an accomplishment. Those classes were the foundation for the Rose and Cotton Bowl Championship teams.
