I'm not sure I could talk myself out of betting a large sum of money that the Harbaugh era gets off to an ugly start in Utah tonight. I think this line should be closer to three touchdowns than 5 or 6 points. This seems to be a clear instance of people buying the hype over looking at it practically. Not sure national audience realizes how far down um really is and I don't care if Bear Bryant was coaching them if you don't have any players you are going to get whipped. My son asked me who um has and I couldn't name one skill player on their team. As for the "Harbaugh factor", I ain't buying it. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it, but, so far, I just don't see anything special scheme wise that he brings to the table that's going to transform a team with multiple holes into a winner overnight.
OTOH, Utah is legit. They have depth and experience on both sides of the ball. Their front seven is considered one of the best in the country(led nation in sacks last year) going against a suspect OL for um and a Heisman hopeful in Booker, who should have a good night. A lot of the same players that beat um in aa last year and I think um will take step back before stepping forward. Utah feels disrespected by all the attention Harbaugh is getting and I don't think they will take their foot off the pedal. Oh, and an AA kicker. Utes 37 um 10.
