Bolla from Arizona was available until Indiana got him. I have no idea if Izzo tried to recruit him. But why wouldn't he have made an all out effort? Was he concerned that Cooper or Kohler would have hit the transfer portal? In my opinion, Bolla would have been a huge upgrade because I don't see our current centers improving enough to take us to the promised land.
