Jamal Milan Update

You may recall that Jamal Milan is the defensive tackle from Chicago All Raby High School who had a good showing at the MSU camp on June 1. MSU got back to him a couple of days later and informed him that there are a couple of other DTs that are frankly higher on their list, so there isn't a scholarship offer forthcoming at this time. I give credit to MSU for being honest with him and not trying to slow-play him and avoid his phone calls, as some programs might do. MSU said they would call him and give him the lo down, and that's what they did.
So I think Milan is moving on. He has been invited to camp at Wisconsin, which I think might be this weekend. And he received a scholarship offer from Iowa State today.

At the end of the recruiting cycle, remind me about the Jamal Milan recruiting situation and I'll provide some extra info and insight when the time is appropriate. Good kid, good prospect, good player. I'll add to that later in the year, but there is no reason to rain on his parade right now.
