I as waking past a wine bar in the Delta wing of the Philadelphia Airport. As I past (not my type of a bar) I hear a U of M Fan state to another person at the bar that "in three years the big ten will become the big two. Just like when Bo and Woody used to run it. The rest of the teams will not even matter". Now, I am sorry I just couldn't pass by. After sitting down and listening to this gentleman talk about how great U of M will be and that there has never been a coach like Hardballs. Ever!. He proceeds to tell me that the reason why U of M will be great again is that they (along with OSU) have the most wins then any other college football program. And that recruiting is 99.97% of the reason why programs win. He says that simply U of M will get the best recruits because of their heritage and because their coach is Hardballs. I ask him to explain why Texas (who recruits better than U of M) is a dumpster fire. No answer. I then get some explanation of how good Hardballs was in the NFL. I ask him that is he was so good why did he leave/fired. "Oh because he was a micro-manager". And that NFL players don't like that. I asked him why it was that Belichick is tolerated at NE if that was the case? After 3 more ridiculous answers I just had to leave. It was just too easy.
