I spoke with some peeps about the recent recruiting success in the Toledo and surrounding areas. There are a couple of factors that went into these commits.
1. Coach Vince Morrow- He recruited these kids and played at UT, as well as coached. I was told he is also a very good recruiter. Stoops, the head coach is also from Ohio and is making it a priority.
2. The DL Hudson (name?) was not offered by MSU as they were up front with him when he camped. With his slower feet he projected at OL and not DL. UK offered right away apparently and did not limit him to OL.
3. The RB M Warren is only about 5'9, so MSU was just not interested. The kicker is that his Father is from Kentucky.
