I read a very good post below about how lousy of a game he had all around. I rewatched the tape as well and he did struggle in every rb responsibility.
Pass protection, making guys miss, ball protection, explosiveness.
He had one play off tackle 1-1 an elite back takes that for 7.
Now it's one game(s)/ he's young but it seems hes always been pegged as Bell Jr since the day he's been on campus. I've always thought Holmes was a harder runner. He's a good player but he's got a loooong way to go compared to how he's perceived by media/staff.
I will never understand why Holmes doesn't get more work but I am sure there are reasons. When he was starting last year we were at our best imo
