Mark was upset with the defense in that last drive and with good cause. If the team was told anything beforehand it was that AF would not quit in this game.
Those guys played aggressive and hard to the end. I am not convinced our guys did the same and therefore neither the offense or defense ended the way we or the coaches wanted them to.
The Spartans had too much for AF to beat us, but if anything is taken from this game it's just that you need to play hard and smart the whole game. Don't get complacent with a large lead. We won fairly convincingly but should learn to play smart and hard.
