Probably not a major concern considering the disarray our defense is in, but something worth discussing. Burbridge and TEs have been excellent. What's going on with the other guys?
Are the issues chemistry related, instruction related, route design, route execution, or good old fashioned lack of skill?
I remember Comparoni had an interesting take on Shelton/Kings this summer. IIRC, he mentioned how their quickness was invaluable against the likes of an Iowa or Wisconsin who lack any athleticism to speak of, yet when they get matched up against above-average athletes, they are completely shut down.
What I'm getting at is, why are our WRs rarely open? Why does Cook have to thread the needle against crappy competition? Furthermore, for those who understand the WR position, what do Shelton/Kings do at a higher level than the reserves?
