Looking ahead to the Ducks, I have a Q that I hope others can answer.
I know that Oregon runs a 3-4 D...can anyone share how we have fared going up against this alignment in the last couple years? I think Notre Dame runs it, and we didn't fare that well (granted that was a couple years ago...and our OL has vastly improved since then). I just remember they were big and physical...much like Oregon.
I believe we have to make 'hay' in the run game, and I know we go against more 4-3 fronts year in and year out (including our own everyday in practice).
Everyone talks about the adjustments our D has to make going against their O (plethora of bubble screens, etc.), but the adjustment that I think could be key as well, is our OL blocking a 3-4 front.
Anyone have any insights on this? Thanks..
