I am sure between Reshke and Frey the money position will be solid and improve as the season proceeds. However, that said, we missed some of the athleticism and big play activity that Ed delivers just based on his speed and athleticism. He has been our real blitz and sack guy, and I think due to experience and physical ability, would have further blown up a few plays that could have quieted this thing down a bit. Additionally, I was wondering if Shilique was playing and had to look for his number. He played the hands to the face thing well twice, but other than a sack, was pretty quiet. I had also been a little more hopeful of seeing better penetration up the middle from our d-line. They looked solid but not at the level we had been led to believe or WSU has a better o-line that expected especially in 2nd half where our rotation should have worn them down.
