When you look at the other linemen (both those who play and those who don't), Machado seems abnormally small. Don't get me wrong, he seems strong, and he might be talented enough to cover up some deficiencies, but the other guys look to be two trainers wide and a head taller than the regular people on the sideline. They have arms that look like a fairly athletic guy's legs, and thighs that look like they have the circumference of telephone poles. I am not exaggerating. Machado looks like a really strong, regular guy (except tall). Really almost tight end sized. I wonder if that is too small for this line. He is listed at 298, but I just do not buy that he weighs two more pounds than Jack Allen, and if he is 298, then Kieler must be 330 (and Conklin about that size or a little more). Donavon Clark is huge (and I think underrated).

Or I'm blind. Height is certainly a factor. Machado, Conklin, and Kieler are listed as the same size. Allen is much shorter but he looks like a miniature Conklin not like a slightly stockier Machado.

On a slightly different topic, I cannot imagine how great it would be to play football side by side with your brother. There are other groups of brothers on the team, but Brian Allen lines up one foot away from his big brother, and sometimes blocks the same guy.
