Was thinking about ESPN's sophomoric job today with MD's car-wash. He's too classy to say a word about it publicly, but I'm certain he's going to use that as productive fuel in the tank.
Got me thinking a couple things:
-MD really is a MASTER motivator. He's simply incredible in this regard. Not only have they consistently played well in big games, but his squads have rarely, rarely come out flat. It just doesn't happen much with his teams.
And even in the rare instances when they have been flat, they usually still find a way to win.
Not many Coaches have a track record of "showing up to play" as consistently as MD's teams do.
