Unintended Impact, By Jim Proebstle
This is a very interesting book on concussions and CTE. What's different about it is Jim Proebstle and Dick Proebstle were brothers and teammates at Canton Central Catholic and Michigan State. Jim was able to trace a broader picture of his brother's CTE dementia having been a witness to his concussions. Most stories we read focus on the end of a famous pro athlete's life without much insight into when and where and how the concussions were treated.
Jim played on Michigan State's 1965 national championship team. Jim remains a fan of football and points out the MSU Concussion Consortium is a leader in the education of safety in football.
