With Mike Geiger out after undergoing an off-season procedure, walk-on Kevin Cronin has been doing the kicking. All indications, including what I've seen with my own eyes, have it that Cronin is doing pretty well. I doubt that he is a threat to beat out Geiger, but I wouldn't be surprised if Cronin pushes him a little bit in August as Geiger makes his way back. Cronin has been solid.
