1) WR Cam Chambers: Showed why he had so many offers. Size, speed and playmaking ability. The first commitment to the class of 2016 has been a catalyst.
2) DB Demetric Vance: Vance is a playmaker. He has the size and skill to be an exceptional player at next level. He has the frame to add 20lbs and not loose any speed.
3) WR Donnie Corley: Corley did what we have come to expect. Smooth is the best word I can use to describe him as a player.
4) OL Gavin Cupp: Was very impressive all day long. Big, athletic, quick feet. I really liked what I saw from him and I think MSU was very pleased as well.
5) QB Messiah DeWeaver: Messiah could have easily been higher on this list. What I like about him is his size. DeWeaver is going to be a physical force that is hard to bring down. I think of a Ben Rothlisberger type in the pocket.
6) LB Joe Bachie: Physically one of the most impressive players at entire camp. Best of the LB group. Showed some good explosiveness in testing and moved very well in drills.
7) WR Hunter Rison 2017: Rison had a very good day. They did not do as many 1v1 stuff and that is where I think he really excels. With that said, Rison has an infectious personality and his talent level is exceptional.
8) TE Cole Kmet 2017: This is my underclass player that I think will blow up over the coming months. IMO he fits what the Spartans are looking for in a tight end.
9) OL Matt Allen: I have stated that Matt is not Brian. With that said, his rate of progress is very good and I think he will be a very solid player and has great chance to be a 3-year starter at center.
10) DT James Hudson 2017: Big physical player. Still raw, but the potential is there. Coach Burton spent plenty of time with Hudson and if MSU offers they will be tough to beat (Unless OSU offers)
11) WR Trishton Jackson: Jackson had a good day, but not great. I thought he could of caught the ball better. Word is he was playing with a bad finger, but a few drops seemed like a lapse in concentration or attention to detail. With that said, Jackson is not a WR by trade at this point. The potential is there though and MSU is
12) RB Chawntez Moss: Very solid prospect that in a normal year he could grab a MSU offer. This year is a little different though due to scholarship numbers, but stranger things have happened. If Moss lets his recruitment play out for a while thing could definitely change.
13) OL Luke Campbell: OL prospect from Olentangy that is not getting much hype from recruiting services, but has 7 offers including 2 Big Ten. Showed very good ATH ability for teh position.
