1) I do not know all the facts so take that fwiw. With that said, if it is a situation where Williams brandished a gun that he aquired illegally, I have no issue with him being gone. Obviously their could be extending circumstances, but that would not excuse the possession.

2) Time will tell what the circumstances are. With that said, Dantonio does have some options. For one Williams never red-shirted so he could conceivably miss 2015 and not impact his eligibility. If that were to happen I would assume he would switch to LB. By the time he came back the RB position/issue will have long been solved. Sitting out a year IMO is a great test of character move.

3) I never expected Williams to be the guy this fall. As most know I always thought he needed to be on D. Gerald Holmes imo is a better true RB and London and Scott have plenty of talent. This situation has to be Holmes' big chance.

4) I am sure some are worried about depth, but I would not sweat things too much. Besides the fact that MSU has a few RB guys coming in that play RB like Willis, they also have some other guys on roster who could run the ball in emergency situations. Guys like TJ Harrell and Vayante Copeland come to mind. Harrell was actually recruited by several schools to be a RB and Copeland was a prolific RB in HS.

5) Dantonio will weigh a the facts before making a decision. With that said, I know for a fact he will takes this very serious. College kids get drunk, get into fights and even get behind well of a car. We all have been there. Dantonio knows Williams well and he knows the prigram he has built is not something he will let any one player jeopardize.

It will be interesting when we get all the facts.
