Nebraska football fan Jack Hoffman, who is famous for ‘The Run’ in 2013, has sadly passed away at the age of 19 after a long battle with brain cancer. After he began chemotherapy in 2012, Hoffman received the opportunity of a lifetime.The moment received the “Best Moment” honors from the 2013 ESPYs. The touchdown run in Memorial Stadium is one of the best moments in all of Husker football history and it helped launch an important mission to raise funds and find a cure for pediatric brain cancer.
