I wanted to see the first several games and study this team before making any definitive statements, however between injuries, struggles in the secondary and relatively pedestrian QB play, it seems like it is just a matter of time until the hammer falls as far as all the playoff talk is concerned. This is still a very good team, but it doesn't seem like MSU has what it takes to be in the mix as one of the top 4 playoff teams at the end of the season.
