Objective thought about all the recent commits

I'm very excited about all the recent commits, it's hard to deny an excitement surrounding talented players wanting to be part of something we here have long known is a special program. With that said, and I preface that there are still major players (King, Corley, Robertson, etc.) that might still commit soon, however are all the recent commits a factor of the same kind of players we normally get simply realizing that they need to get on the bus sooner rather than in the fall when that position is filled up? Outside of the major coups we've had with DeWeaver, Layne, Chambers, etc. the rest of the guys are the 3 star evaluated talent that we typically get with Dantonio and co.

I guess I don't see this as a "dream team" like it's being made out to be. I see it as we're just now getting the same quality of identified talent, just sooner in the process. It's not like this is an Alabama, OSU, FSU type of class thus far based on ratings and other factors.

Please don't flame as I'm not diminishing what this class could ultimately become. It *could* manifest itself with the same concern that Texas suffered from at the end of Mack Brown's tenure. Filling up on players early in the recruiting process, well before their senior year where other targets might emerge as better prospects.

Again, this is just an objective line of thinking, it's not saying what I believe. But I feel it's worth mentioning and I certainly hope it's not the case.
