Things are kind of quiet on the Alaric Jackson front and IMO that tells you what you need to know. I have a feeling MSU would love to see him a few games this fall and see his development. Lots of upside, but sometimes you want a more finished product.
With that said, DO NOT sleep on the AJ Arcuri kid...Pitt and Indiana offered last week. I would not be shocked if he has moved up the MSU board and could be the next man up for an offer as soon as MSU figures out if they are going to take another OL. It is all about the numbers.
Arcuri A LOT like Joe Thuney out of Columbus, Ohio who camped at MSU a few years ago and the staff came close to offering. Thuney will end up being a 3-year starter at NC State and probably All-ACC. The difference is Arcuri is an inch taller and 10 lbs heavier at same point. Thuney was 6'4.5 239 at MSU Camp based on my notes. Arcuri is 6'5.5 and 248.
I have long thought 23 is the # so MSU IMO is hoping....
