Umich won last night because they dominated in the trenches, in particular on the offensive line. I thought they were very impressive. That leads me to the question of why has msu struggled so mightily on the Oline for what seems like years now? There have been years where the Oline has been serviceable, but not being able to pick up one yard or less on 4th down has been going on for a long time (despite questionable play calling). Football is won and lost in the trenches. I tip my cap to what umich has finally done in that area. MSU needs to do the same.
