First, I am nervous like a lot of people with the turn in recruiting. With that being said, we can evaluate the class on signing day in February. I remember Craig Stadler said one time that he never gets mad on a hole until it is over.
One of the positives of the low commitment numbers is that we can get in on late bloomers. Many times, MAC teams are able to pick up kids that have great senior years because the power 5 schools are filled. My guys Keshawn Martin (offered in November and committed in December) and Jeremy Lanford, (offered and committed in December) never would have been offered if the class was full. As a matter of fact, Jeremy only received an offer after the Rather Hall incident, when guys were removed from the team. Shoot, I couldn't even get CMU to offer Jeremy.
So, here is to finding a couple of late bloomers in this class!
Go Green!!!
