They added 5th year transfer Matt Hegarty from Notre Dame today. He plays center, and will seemingly fill the void left by Hroniss Grasu who was just taken in the 3rd round by the Bears. That was a weak spot for them heading into the summer, but they are looking for a quick one year fix with the addition of Hegarty. It appears they'll have a 5th year grad transfer snapping the ball to a 5th year grad transfer QB. It's no wonder the NCAA wants to take a look at the grad transfer rule
