I always wondered why there were not more Americans on CFL teams but (I guess this probably should have been obvious to me) only 50% of the CFL roster can be from outside Canada...
Anyway, this stud LB Bear Woods for the Allouettes tears a pec in their first game and they elevate Elsworth from the practice squad to start in the middle. In the two games he's played, he has 17 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.
Who knows? Make some $$$ up north for 3-4 years and come back down and get a chance to play in the NFL.
