Trevon Pendleton starting is no surprise at all. I have heard good things about walk-on Collin Lucas, as well as some positive things about converted d-lineman David Fennell. I would, however, be surprised if either Lucas or Fennell got regular work behind Pendleton given the insane amount of depth at tight end. Michigan State has used a tight end as a second fullback for years, and that trend will continue.
