I spoke with the father of four-star Cincinnati DE Prince Sammons tonight and he was telling me about how the trip to East Lansing went Sept. 12. He said Prince "liked the atmosphere and thought it was a great game." Also said he was "soaking it up," and sounded like all went pretty well.
Prince has always played his recruitment very tight to the vest. He is actually seeing Oregon play again this upcoming weekend, making his first official visit of the process. Both schools sound like strong contenders here, but the rest of his official visits are not likely to be taken until after the season (CHCA has an off weekend, allowing him to make this official visit). Decision sounds likely to take place sometime in the winter, though there is no set timeframe.
