Two things I am wondering about. The first is the lack of distribution to receivers. Other than Burbridge and Shelton there was only one catch by both Price and Arnett. Just in reviewing box scores for other games this distribution seemed very truncated. I know a ball was thrown to Kings and one to Troup, but this lack of shall we say spreading it around may come to bite us in the future. Secondly, although clock management is important, I think sometimes when you take the pace of play down you also hurt your own momentum. It was still with 13 minutes on the clock that we were using the whole 40 seconds and huddle was just standing around. This seems to take urgency and intensity out of the equation. Our offense was slow, lumbering, and inefficient in the second half and little seemed to be done to correct it. 20 to 30 point comebacks are not unachievable and you need to keep the pedal on the gas even if you become a bit conservative.
