After reading the Shawn Windsor article in today's Freep and seeing (and empathizing with) the Board's reaction, I thought I would post a bit of information based upon recent observations.
I was at Detroit Metro to pick up my daughter when none other than Jim Harbaugh, khaki pants and all, arrived in the traffick line immediately behind me. I am happy to report he was not aboard a flying chariot nor a bolt of lightening. He was, in fact, driving a pick up truck, albeit a very posh model. It appeared that he too was there to retrieve a daughter. He was not walking on water, did not levitate during my period of observation and seemed quite fallible. In short, he is merely human, has yet to win a single game as a B1G coach and is simply luxuriating in the hype of the Detroit media propaganda machine. The UofM fan base desperation is palpable given the relative lack of recruiting success thus far: those 5-stars are not stepping over each other to follow the savior. Let the games begin. He may make UofM a better team, but there is an equal likelihood that the fall from grace could be dramatic.
