Is money ( ; I've out in Yellowstone hiking for a week with my son and just looking at the board from a hotel room and I am very excited about possibility of DM at Money LB. Frey/Rescke aren't exactly brimming with experience so with those two mistakes would be made as well.
What however can't be coached-up is speed, and our two primary adversaries this regular season - Oregon and OSU- make a living out of creating coverage mismatches. And from the article I read, DM is beefing up and likes to hit. But it's that elite speed that would, like Davis, be a feared (I'm not saying DM will be another Ed Davis) blitzer very soon.
Ideally, one of either Frey or Rescke would win out; they've been here longer. But the best man should start, and I think it indeed will end up being Drake Martinez. I for one would be ecstatic.
