We don't know what the weather is like yet. I would guess E. L. will be covered in blue and urine. They think they have even more to CROW about than usual. That is always hard for me to see since I live in SE MI area. I reduce all of the bragging I can to enjoy my life. But those colors taking over MSU is hard to see.
I am hoping thousands of Spartans realize that the mighty M will be hoping you all decide to stay home. They would love to take over OUR stadium and embarrass our team. If you were a parent of the Spartan team, you would want them to be supported. Many would love to renew the couch on fire and E. L. storefronts ruined videos. Older Spartans know lots of troublemakers are attracted to that scene. The last time the footage was shown across the US for weeks. Please be there and be a stable influence.
I emphatically hope our University is ready with undercover police hiding in all of the groups outside and inside the stadium. As soon as any trouble starts, arrest the instigators. Don't wait for major trouble. Jump on the first swing or stupid move. MSU needs to make sure the usual facts that most troublemakers were NOT MSU students is written and spoken OFTEN. It is a fact that I never heard years ago.
During the game---(((Keep the teams away from each other))). SHOW the viewers HOW an emotional field, sideline and tunnel SHOULD be handled. The refs also need to be proactive and end any pushing and shoving in the game. Plan on double the police you have estimated as needed. Have the grounds crews paid to walk the campus. Clean up before bigger messes can be made. Have people with phones guarding the porta potties etc.
The only thing MSU fans can do is be there. Do your best to give or sell your extra tickets to people you know are WISE Spartans. Each of us need to remember what we said about the ruckus in the tunnel. Spartans need to NOT be sensitive to the m braggarts. Many of us said it. NOW it is our turn to follow our own knowledgable suggestions. Don't be sucked in by insults. Be the wiser one.
MSU is in transition again. Our imagine is even more critical than normal. We are searching for a President and Coach for this nationally respected University.
MSU needs to imagine what thousands of emotional FANS might possibly DO. BE READY!!!! All of your supporters, fans and donors are COUNTING on YOU to be READY!!
