With today;s transactions, the Texans will open camp with the following Spartans:
- Hoyer competing with Mallett for the starting QB spot
- Keshawn Martin competing for a WR and Special Teams spot
- Max Bullogh (practice squad in 2014) competing for a roster spot. They drated an ILB in round 2 today (McKinney from Ole Miss)
- Keith Mumphery drafted today in the 5th round
- Kurtis Drummond signed as a FA
Everyone except Hoyer will have to fight for a roster spot. Keshawn has been their PR, and has returned kicks at times. However, they have signed a lot of WR's in the off-season. However, they traded Devier Posey today, which helps.
I think Bullough will not earn a spot. Mumphery will be challenged to crack the lineup, but might make the practice squad.
Drummond has a decent shot, despite being a Free Agent.
