Spotting the ball

Does it bother anyone else that the officials cater to the Oregon/Baylor style of play so much by rushing to spot the ball as quickly as possible? I never understood that, they shouldn't try to slow Oregon/Baylor down but it seems like they sprint the ball into position much faster than they do during a game not featuring those types of teams. I have a hard time believing that if State (or really any program) wanted to limit possessions by taking as long as possible that the officials would cater to that style of play by taking double the amount of time as normal. I know it isn't a big deal but I don't think the officials should favor either side, I think the tempo should be consistent and shouldn't change just because that is what Oregon/Baylor wants to have happen.
