This from a staff that traditionally used the on-campus summer camps as a means of evaluating and extending offers. Then we'd sit back and watch these kids explode on the scene their senior season, once everyone else caught on the what the staff saw. The underrated 2 stars turned into upper 3 stars (not that the staff gives a crap about that).
Last yr, Gaines started the string of 3a becoming 4s, and I suspect we'll see that continue this yr, and even a couple 4s becoming 5s.
My point is, with this staff's ability to evaluate talent, the fact that they've identified this group this early in the game as the elite talent they want to run the system speaks volumes to me. Oh, and then went out and closed on them. Can't be a very comforting feeling for the rest of the B1G.
