Someone posted yesterday that the game changed after Finley's injury. How the guys were really shocked by it and it's understandable that the team didn't respond well and blah, blah, blah. Well, I brought this up with a friend of mine who was in both Gulf Wars and he said that is no excuse for anyone to ever become crap at their job. He said, and I agree, that they need to man up and play harder for their fallen comrade, as the military does. Of course, in the military, the opponents are trying to kill you, but his point is spot on.
MSU has a mindset problem. They have bought in to their #2 ranking and played the second half like they are entitled to a win. Sadly, it appears the coaches are buying the same load of crap, as well. There is plenty of time for the problem to be fixed, but I fear that the injuries and mindset combined might be the undoing of this great group of Spartans.
