The biggest weakness in the program before Gill left was the fact that they couldn't get along. I know for a fact that Gill wanted Kerry Hyder a kid who I sent to football camp. He was on the fence at that time, he became an All Conference player and he is now on the Lions practice squad.

I am not convinced he would have been great at State, but he was good enough to get a schollie.

Ron Burton came in and did what Narduzzi had always hoped would happen, he got studs and he developed them.

If you look at the past 3 years, the talent on the Dline has gone through the roof, we are about to see some sick defenses.
